Kit Kat and Litka’s Rocket Adventure is a whimsical 19’ concept that explores the imaginative adventure of a cat and dog. The main components of the sculpture are the stainless steel rocket ship, a bronze feline and canine, and gold leaf stars.
Seven Songs for a Poet celebrates nature and poetry. The primary component of this 20’ x 16’ x 17’ project is its abstracted stainless steel tree with six bronze and gold leaf covered song birds. The other element is a tree-like bench that is covered with stone, a bronze book and a bronze and gold leaf covered song bird.
Crystal Cluster is an expression of light and form that celebrates one of Arkansas natural resources. The main components of the sculpture are its quartz crystal-like sculptural forms that are fabricated from stainless steel. This grouping of 2’-15’ forms are colorfully lit at the ground level with RGB LED lighting, and are placed on a concrete pad in the a 50’ diameter circle site. At the inside edge of the circle are six crystal-like benches made from semi-polished precast white concrete with quartz as the aggregate.
The Traveler is an expression of independence and strength of character. The main form is a representation of a female dress making structure from the 40’s. The overall piece is 86” x 29” x 29” from bronze, stainless steel, architectural steel, and gold leaf.
The Lanterns is a collaborative concept with MESA Landscape Architects to honor the three neighborhoods that surround a proposed roundabout development. The Lanterns concept is to represent the three neighborhoods with three distinct but similarly designed 16’crystal-like stainless steel forms. Each of these forms have LED lights at their sides and in their edges that can be programed for different color configurations.
The Mentor is an expression of hope and inspiration that celebrates nature and the importance of mentorship. The 9’ by 20” square sculpture creates a rendition of the human figure through indigenous plant imagery that both gently holds and frees a bird form that is gold leafed.
The Healing Tree honors health care workers and public service personnel who tirelessly worked every day to help our society overcome the Covid-19 epidemic. The 30’ by 25’ diameter sculptural tree and its supports are made from stainless steel. Complimenting the tree form are over 500 leaves and 7 bronze songbirds that are covered in gold leaf.
Bursting creatively celebrates the atomic structure symbol from the 50’s. These three12’-15’ tall forms are whimsical in nature and have a visual energy that stimulates the public imagination. Each of the three forms has a centered bronze perfect solid being surrounded by concentric stainless steel circles and colorful spheres emanating from the center.
Seven Songs Archway is a dynamic and easily recognizable merger of two tree-like forms that create an archway. Within the environment of this 18’ x 12’ x 22’ archway are seven bronze songbirds that are covered in gold leaf.
Three Songs for a Poet is an expression of hope and inspiration. This sculpture has a stainless steel tree-like bench where a bronze girl sits and reviews an illustrated book while listening to the gold leafed songbird birds in the stainless steel tree.
Song for a Poet is an expression of how nature can be inspirational to us. This project has three major components of a bronze young girl reading about nature in an illustrated book, a stainless steel fallen tree-like bench and a bronze and gold leaf songbird.
